Delaware College of Art and Design offers majors in animation, game art, fine arts, graphic design, illustration and photography and video.

DCAD’s reputation as a rigorous two-year art and design foundation program is the result of an innovative partnership between Pratt Institute and the Corcoran College of Art + Design. The College’s Associate of Fine Arts degree prepares students with job-ready skills for employment post-graduation or to transfer to other leading art and design schools to pursue their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

DCAD is distinguished by a small, smart, and creative campus community of 200 students. The faculty of professional artists and designers offer meaningful mentorship for our students’ optimal creative growth. Our welcoming, diverse campus provides opportunities for students to curate their own exhibitions, lead clubs and activities, and explore the arts and culture in Wilmington and beyond. DCAD students benefit from a firm foundation in art and design in their major of choice enabling them to pursue a wide-range of in-demand creative careers.

Delaware Tech offers many programs of study including bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees, certificates, and diplomas. The College has established over 265 program-to-program transfer agreements, in which a student may earn their associate degree from Delaware Tech and then seamlessly transfer to a senior institution to complete their bachelor’s degree. Established in 1891, Delaware State University (DSU) is a part of the Historically Black College and University (HBCU) community. The university is known for their excellence in teaching, research and public service and strives to be the most Diverse, Contemporary HBCU in America. DSU offers 44 undergraduate bachelor’s degree programs, 18 master’s degree programs, and five doctoral degree programs across 17 academic departments and four colleges. Goldey-Beacom College – How to Apply:

The University of Delaware offers 150+ majors across ten colleges and schools. UD was the first institution to offer study abroad and now offers over 100 programs to over 40 countries.

The University of Delaware also offers the Associate in Arts Program (AAP), where students can earn their two-year associate’s degree. Students in this program may be eligible for the SEED scholarship, which may cover tuition for eligible students. After earning their associate in arts degree, most students then choose to transition to UD’s Newark campus to pursue their four-year bachelor’s degree. aap.udel.edu
