Launch into Your Future Month

Launch into Your Future Month, previously known as College Application Month, occurs each October and November in every public high school in Delaware.

The Delaware Higher Education Office (DHEO) and University of Delaware’s Institute for Public Administration (IPA) sponsors this initiative to boost student success post-graduation. High schools select one week where seniors are given time during the school day to plan their postsecondary steps to a fulfilling and wealth-generating career.

Volunteers across the state work with students as they explore apprenticeship opportunities, learn about certification programs, work on their college applications, take steps to enlist in the military, and develop skills to enter the workforce.
