Texas OnCourse

In response to feedback from school counselors regarding a desire for professional development on college and career topics, Delaware has partnered with Texas OnCourse to provide access to their Texas OnCourse Academy.

You can choose to access this program in several ways:

  • Quick Question: If you need to look up a quick question, use the search box and search by keywords to go directly to that information.
  • Specific Topic: You can choose which topic(s) you’d like to learn more about and just complete those modules.
  • All Modules Access: You can access them all for a more complete learning experience.
How to Start Learning
  1. Register in PDMS Course #29008 Section #73954 if you want to earn clock hours.
  2. Create an account with Texas OnCourse Academy using the login instructions.
  3. Choose the modules you want to do and get started! Or, if you just need information on a specific topic, use the search bar at the top of the page once logged in.
How to Earn Clock Hours
  1. Register in PDMS*
  2. Complete a learning module on TexasOnCourse
    • Each module begins with a pre-assessment questionnaire to see your current knowledge on the topic. You then go through the training, and there’s a post-assessment. You must complete these steps for the module to be considered complete.
  3. Learners will be awarded 1 clock hour for each module completed.

*You no longer need to register for each module in PDMS, OnCourse will send a user report to DOE, and 1 clock hour will be awarded for each module completed.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact: Leigh Weldin. We look forward to your feedback!
