Have you thought about Registered Apprenticeship?
A Registered Apprenticeship is a tuition-free school, if you attend a local vocational technical school.
- Registered Apprenticeships include classroom lessons to make sure the apprentice masters all aspects of the job. A Registered Apprenticeship is also a paid job. Someone who is new to the field (the apprentice) learns the skills needed for the job.
- Registered Apprentices are trained by master craftsmen, who are experts in their field. They share their skills and knowledge to help the Registered Apprentice become an expert too.
Registered Apprentices attend 144 hours of instruction every year. An average Registered Apprenticeship Program last four years. There are more than 20 active Registered Apprenticeship programs in Delaware. Which one is right for you?
