Registered Apprenticeship

Registered Apprenticeship are earn-while-you-learn programs that incorporate key elements, including paid workplace experience and related technical (classroom) instruction. By creating partnerships between employers, community-based organizations, high schools, and postsecondary institutions, programs prepare workers of all ages and experience for in-demand careers.

Registered Apprenticeship for youth (also called youth apprenticeship) provide the same opportunities for high school students to gain paid work experience and skills in a real work environment. They give businesses a chance to develop a new generation of talent.
